From the Editor: March 2016

Hi all,

There are some great events coming up.  Some of them are Eugene Chapter, WAPF events, others are presented by other local food organizations.

Where to Find Traditional Foods, Locally and Beyond

First of all, I had several requests for notes from people who couldn’t make the potluck in February, but really wanted to hear the discussion, so I wrote down the following highlights:

Wild Fermentation with Sandor Katz

Next up is a presentation here in Eugene by fermentation legend, Sandor Katz:

March 16th: Planning Session

Our Eugene Chapter annual Planning Session has been changed to March 16th.

We would like to invite you to join into the ranks of the exclusive and highly prestigious group of people who volunteer their time to make the Eugene Chapter run each year.  Without their dedication none of our events or newsletters would happen.  You could be a part of this team!

Coming up in April:

Potluck Host Needed!

You may notice that there is, as yet, no potluck scheduled for March.  That is because we need YOU to volunteer your house.  The potlucks only happen when volunteers make room in their lives to get things done.  Right now we need someone to step up and offer their house for March and later in the year.  Please contact Megan radzillameg@gmail.com to arrange at time that works for you.
