Tell Your U.S. Representative to Protect Traditional Forms of Cattle ID
alert from Farm and Ranch Freedom Alliance
When it comes to the Farm Bill, the status quo is what the massive meatpacking corporations want on a lot of fronts, especially mandatory electronic Animal ID. If Congress does nothing, then USDA’s new rule mandating electronic ID for cattle will go into effect later this year – burdening small farmers and undermining our already stretched thin infrastructure of local sale barns and vets willing to work with those farmers.
Mandatory electronic animal identification DOES NOT address food safety or animal disease concerns, but instead, unreasonably burdens farmers and ranchers.
You may have heard that the last omnibus funding bill included electronic ID, which is unfortunately true … but it still hinges on the USDA rule going into effect. So we can still stop it if Congress takes action in the Farm Bill!
We have fought this Big Meatpacker-driven program since 2006 because of the loss of privacy, cost, inefficiency, and the burdens on small-scale farmers and ranchers. We’ve stopped it multiple times before, and we can do so again — with YOUR help!
We urge you to take immediate action and voice your opposition to the USDA’s electronic animal ID mandate.
ACTION TO TAKE
- Call your U.S. Representative: Urge them to include a provision in the Farm Bill that protects farmers’ ability to use traditional forms of ID on their cattle. Calls are most effective, so be sure to follow up by phone. See Talking Points below.

TALKING POINTS
- USDA has failed to show a need to impose more expensive requirements: Prior to imposing new regulations and costs, an agency should conduct an analysis to determine the need and whether the new requirements actually address that need. Despite numerous requests, the USDA has failed to conduct such an analysis for mandatory electronic animal ID.
- The proposed rule disproportionately harms small farmers and ranchers: Moving to a completely electronic ID system carries significant costs, not only from the cost of the tag itself but also associated infrastructure costs. This impacts not only farmers, but also sales barns and large-animal veterinarians. Large corporate-controlled operations will not only benefit from economies of scale, but could structure their operations to avoid individual ID requirements altogether.
Consider what happened when Michigan implemented mandatory electronic ID for cattle on an intrastate basis in 2007. Over the next five years, the number of very small cattle farms in Michigan declined by 3%, even though nationally the number of such farms increased. And the number of very large cattle farms in Michigan increased by 35%, even though the number of such operations decreased nationally. In other words, in the real-world example of the impact of mandatory electronic ID in this country, the results show that it hurts small farms and increases consolidation. [Note: This data is based on the USDA NASS Agricultural Census of 2007 and 2012.]
- The proposed rule will be ineffective improving animal traceability: Based on USDA’s own analysis, the agency estimates that it will impact only 11% of cattle in the country. Yet an earlier congressional analysis concluded that 18% was too low of a participation rate to make traceability programs effective. [see Summary, “Animal Identification and Traceability: Overview and Issues” (Nov 29, 2010), p. 2 – https://crsreports.congress.gov/product/pdf/R/R40832].
- Mandating electronic ID undermines the goal of promoting a resilient food system: If we want to build resilient, diversified supply chains, the federal government needs to take steps to avoid regulations and policies that are prejudiced against small- and mid-scale producers, such as mandatory electronic Animal ID. The solution is simple: Keep the 2013 Animal Disease Traceability Rule unchanged, allowing farmers and ranchers to identify their animal with traditional, low-tech forms of ID or electronic ID, depending on which works best for their operations.

- New documents released viaFOIA litigation confirms what Senator Rand Paul has been asserting for months. Dr. Anthony Fauci lied to Congress about funding “Gain-of Function” research in Wuhan, China when he insisted that the U.S. “has not ever and does not now fund gain-of-function research in the Wuhan Institute of Virology.”
- More than 900 pages offederal documents reveal details of U.S.-funded research on various coronaviruses at the Wuhan Institute of Virology in China, including two previously unpublished grant proposals that were funded by the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, which is headed by Dr. Fauci.
- Documents show that NIAID provided more than $3.1 million for bat coronavirus research to the EcoHealth Alliance, a New York-based nonprofit headed by Peter Dazak, including $599,000 to enable the Wuhan Institute of Virology to help identify and modify bat coronaviruses to infect humans.

Help us stop H.R. 550, which would expand state and local health department vaccine-tracking systems and provide for sharing the information they collect with the federal government, to monitor the vaccination status of unwilling Americans.
Vaccine tracking systems and other public health databases are already being used to harass those who have chosen to delay or decline vaccines. They are also used for interventions including home visits and reminder/recall systems.
Indeed, the author of H.R. 550 has bragged that her bill will help the government remind patients when they are due for a recommended vaccine and identify areas with low compliance.
This bill, called the “Immunization Infrastructure Modernization Act of 2021,” would also be costly to taxpayers. It appropriates $400 million dollars to expand vaccine tracking. Part of this money would be spent on grants and cooperative agreements to state or local governmental entities that agree to adopt the new data collection guidelines set by the CDC.
H.R. 550 passed by the House on November 30th with a bipartisan vote, so it is going to be difficult to stop. We must work to educate our Senators on why this seemingly innocuous bill should not pass.

Adults are fully capable of keeping their own vaccine records and should be given the choice whether they wish their vaccination history to be tracked by the government.

- Immunization information systems and vaccine tracking systems are being used for a range ofinterventions, including home visits, reminder and recall systems, which can be harassing for people who do not want these contacts. This should be an opt-in system, but several states have already adopted opt out systems and this bill will create incentives for more states to move to opt out systems, so that they have more data to share with the federal government to justify their requests for funding.
- Opt out systems do not properly protect people’s privacy because they do not remove private information. The only way to protect privacy in a vaccine registry/information system/tracking system is to require prior consent so those who do want to participate can prevent their personal information from being put into the database. Once information is put into the registry, because of permissions for unconsented disclosure for public health purposes authorized by HIPAA, this information could be used to identify and target individuals who have chosen not to be fully vaccinated for interventions and harassment. This information could also be used to discriminate against these families down the road.
- Supporters of vaccine tracking systems claim they are a way to protect patients by guaranteeing patients don’t receive multiple doses of the same vaccinations by different providers. According to CDC’s own statements, though, it’s clear that a key purpose of these registries is to create pressure on people who are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated. - Using Immunization Information Systems costs states millions of dollars. If H.R. 550 passes, an additional $400 million would be allocated to tracking taxpayers. The money spent on vaccine tracking systems would be better spent to measures that actually address public health.

Will the INJECTION prevent PEOPLE from getting AND SPREADING covid-19?
Forbes: “We all expect an effective vaccine to prevent serious illness if infected. Three of the vaccine protocols—Moderna, Pfizer, and AstraZeneca—do not require that their vaccine prevent serious disease, only that they prevent moderate symptoms, which may be as mild as cough or headache.”1
Newsweek, asking Dr. Anthony Fauci, head of the U.S. National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, whether people who get a Covid-19 vaccine could still pass on SARS-CoV-2 to others: “That’s a good question. We don’t know that yet. We do not know if the vaccines that prevent clinical disease also prevent infection.”2
Dr. Soumya Swaminathan, chief scientist with the World Health Organization (WHO), speaking at a WHO press conference Dec. 28, 2020: “At the moment, I don’t believe we have the evidence on any of the vaccines to be confident that it’s going to prevent people from actually getting the infection and therefore being able to pass it on.”3
FDA: “Frequently Asked Questions”:
A: Most vaccines that protect from viral illnesses also reduce transmission of the virus that causes the disease by those who are vaccinated. While it is hoped this will be the case, the scientific community does not yet know if the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine will reduce such transmission [emphasis added].
A: Data are not yet available to inform about the duration of protection that the vaccine will provide.
A: To date, only a small number of severe cases have occurred during the study [among both subjects and controls], which makes it difficult to evaluate whether the vaccine reduces the severity of COVID-19.4
DOES THE INJECTION POSE ANY RISKS?
FDA: “Adverse reactions following the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine that have been reported in clinical trials include injection site pain, fatigue, headache, muscle pain, chills, joint pain, fever, injection site swelling, injection site redness, nausea, malaise, and lymphadenopathy [swelling of the lymph nodes].”5
CDC’s VAERS: As of January 29, 11,249 total adverse events, which includes 501 deaths, have been reported following COVID-19 vaccinations.6
CDC: Over five days from December 18, among 215,364 people who were vaccinated and actively monitored through the v-safe app, 5,052 people were “unable to perform normal daily activities, unable to work, required care from a doctor or health care professional.”7
NIH: “COVID-19 vaccines designed to elicit neutralizing antibodies may sensitize vaccine recipients to more severe disease than if they were not vaccinated.”8
NHS (National Health Service of the U.K.) as reported in The Guardian: Those “with a history of a significant allergic reaction to a vaccine, medicine or food” should not be given the COVID-19 vaccine developed by U.S. pharmaceutical giant Pfizer and Germany’s BioNTech.9
WHO: Pregnant women (unless they are at high risk of exposure to the COVID virus), people under age 17 or 16, and individuals with a history of severe allergic reaction to any component of the vaccine should not take Moderna’s or Pfizer-BioNTech’s COVID-19 vaccines. 10
Dr. Jerry L Spivak, expert on blood disorders at Johns Hopkins: It is a “medical certainty” that Pfizer’s vaccine was related to the January 3rd death of a 56-year-old Florida doctor.11
IS IT WORTH THE RISK?
Microbiology & Infectious Diseases, January 2021, veteran immunologist J. Bart Classen: “RNA-based COVID vaccines have the potential to cause more disease than the epidemic of COVID-19.”12
WHO: “Most people infected with the COVID-19 virus will experience mild to moderate respiratory illness and recover without requiring special treatment.”13
CDC: Best estimate for survival rates by age group are in most cases over 99%s. (birth to 19: 99.997%; age 20-49: 99.98%; age 50-69: 99.5%; age 70 and over: 95%).14

We’d like to share some information on your options if your employer seeks to require you to be vaccinated as a condition of your employment, or for your children in school.
Employees with sincerely held religious beliefs that would be violated by getting vaccinated may be able to refuse an employer’s demand to vaccinate under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. (Please note: you do not have to belong to any organized religion to have sincerely held religious beliefs.)
Title VII makes it unlawful employment practice for an employer to discharge or discriminate against an employee because of such individual’s religion. (However, you may be required to take other steps required by the employer, such as wearing a mask, in place of vaccination.) This is true for any vaccine demanded by employers.
In addition, with respect to COVID vaccines, they have been granted Emergency Use Authorization only, not full approval by the FDA. Therefore, at this time, employers are not allowed to mandate COVID vaccines, even for first responders and frontline workers.
Vaccine exceptions are also available for children. Parents can opt their children out of any vaccine required for school attendance by claiming a religious exemption in all but 5 states (California, Mississippi, West Virginia, New York and Maine), and 16 states have philosophical exemptions. Medical exemptions are also available in every state, although these may be very difficult to obtain, especially in California. Any medical intervention should require voluntary informed consent as stipulated in the Nuremburg Code and the Universal Declaration of Bioethics and Human Rights. But authorities tend to override these principles based on emergency declarations due to COVID.
It bears repeating that these COVID vaccines are experimental, have been fast-tracked, and carry a high rate of side effects. According to the CDC, 2.7 percent of vaccine recipients were “unable to perform normal daily activities or go to work” after getting a COVID vaccine.1 Reports of deaths, especially among the elderly, are widespread.
These adverse reactions are not a surprise. There has never been an approved vaccine for SARS virus diseases because all previously developed vaccines were found to be too risky.
Yet despite these risks – or rather, because of them – vaccine developers have been given complete indemnity if (when) their vaccines cause harm.
Vaccine manufacturers claim that COVID vaccines are 95 percent “effective,” but the FDA is allowing companies to define effectiveness as “prevention of mild symptoms.” The studies are not designed to detect a reduction in outcomes such as severe illness, hospitalization or death.2 There is no proof that these vaccines prevent infection or transmission of the SARS-CoV-2 virus. This is why public health officials have stated that vaccine recipients will still be required to wear face-coverings, maintain physical distance and avoid crowds.3,4
INTERESTING FACTS:
- 2006 Federal legislation removed all civil liability from pharmaceutical companies for injuries and deaths caused by vaccines and drugs manufactured in response to declared public health emergencies, including the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic.
- Many of the new vaccines use DNA or mRNA technology, which is based on a faster and less expensive technology. Neither DNA or mRNA vaccines have been tested properly in large-scale clinical trials. SARS, MERS, and HIV vaccines use this experimental technology, but so far, none have been proven effective and safe for humans.
- Moderna and Pfizer’s “vaccines” are not really vaccines. According to Moderna executives their “vaccine” is actually a form of “gene therapy.” Messenger RNA “vaccines” send a strand of synthetic RNA into human beings, thus invoking the creation of the S-1 spike protein inside the human being. These “vaccines” do not keep you from getting infected, but they do trigger your body to produce a protein that could make you sick. A true vaccine should confer immunity, not make your body produce a potential toxin.5
- Vaccine manufacturers such as Pfizer, Merck and GlaxoSmithKline have paid billions of dollars in criminal penalties and settlements for research fraud, faking drug safety studies, failing to report safety problems, bribery, kickbacks and false advertising.7 Pfizer paid $2.3 billion in 2009 alone to resolve criminal and civil allegations.8
- We can address disease issues without forcing people to accept high-risk vaccinations (while letting the companies that produce them walk away with no liability for the injuries they may cause). A healthy diet with lots of fat-soluble vitamins, preventive measures to boost people’s immune systems, the use of intravenous Vitamin C and zinc, reduction of EMF exposure, and other measures can reduce the severity of disease without side effects, and without destroying people’s civil rights.

Oregon legislators are considering a bill S.B. 254 that would remove the ability of parents to decline required vaccines for their children unless the child is medically contraindicated.
This bill declares an emergency and would revoke currently available religious and philosophical vaccine exemptions. It would force unvaccinated children to attend online courses rather than going to school in person, and it would prevent such children from participating in school-related events, even in-person meetings with teachers.
Under S.B. 254, medical exemptions would only be allowed because of an “indicated medical diagnosis” and such exemptions would need to be submitted every year. It also limits the type of physicians who can write exemptions, which must be approved by a board.
Furthermore, S.B. 254 gives rule-making authority to the Oregon Health Authority to add required immunizations against “restrictable diseases” and adopt rules to establish a list of diseases that pose a threat to public health.
If passed, S.B. 254 would apply to children attending daycare or public, private, parochial, charter schools or alternative educational programs offering kindergarten through grade 12.

- The claimed justification – that unvaccinated individuals pose a health risk to others – is unsupported in the medical literature. In fact, vaccinated individuals can pose greater risk to public health due to a process known as shedding.
