6:00 to 8:00 PM

Location:
Home of Tara Whitsitt, in the main house at 351 W. 10th Ave, Eugene.

Discussion and food for sale:
Tara Whitsitt is the founder of “Fermentation on Wheels,” a grassroots project that provides free food education and inspires people through workshops that raise awareness about food sustainability alongside teaching fermentation. Tara will talk about her food adventures and the exciting life forces of fermentation. She looks forward to collaborating with us. For information about her upcoming classes, see her website at fermentationonwheels.com. Her project was also written up in the Sunday, March 20th RegisterGuard.

As an additional treat, a representative from a fifth generation family farm in Crow will be here to sell you grass-fed pastured beef from cattle raised by their teenagers in 4-H for their college fund. It’s been flash frozen and can be had for $6/pound for hamburger. The person coming will be the one with the least amount of homework that night!
