Topic:

We are having a Gut Health theme for January!  Our potluck topic is Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth (SIBO) and our DVD is the GAPS diet.

Have you heard of SIBO? Wondering if you have it and how to treat it? Aurora will give a brief overview of SIBO according to the latest research. She’ll discuss how she has improved her symptoms by eating more like traditional people.

What to bring?

If you have been coming regularly, please consider upping your game!  Bring more food or something different or special.  If this is your first time, its fine to bring something easy.

The Wise Traditions Diet includes whole, unrefined foods such as:

Bring enough to share with everyone and be sure to include some traditional fats!

Handcrafts & Tea with WAPF

Have you ever wanted to spend more time getting to know all the interesting people you meet at a Eugene Chapter potluck?  Have you ever wanted to hang out with people who share your interest in traditional food?  Have you ever wanted to drink tea, make arts & crafts and visit with like-minded friends?

I have.  So I created an evening for just such an event.  Please join me:

Bring your crochet, knitting, doodling and drawing supplies or any other art supplies (that you can carry and clean up).  You don’t have to feel artistic, just have fun.  I’ll bring adult coloring pages and markers, herbal tea and conversation!

Topic:

Our topic will be anything we want to discuss!  We will check in with those of you who made tallow balm at our last demo and see if anyone has any questions.  Anything in the Food, Farming and Healing Arts arena is fair game.
