May 2014: From the Editor

Hi all,

Potluck Monday, May 12th!

First of all I want to apologize for the late notice about our potluck tomorrow.  I was too busy earlier this month with our Grains Class, and didn’t get the newsletter done in the first weekend of the month as I like to do.  Then it turns out I had written the potluck date down wrong!

Volunteer Needed

And on that note, I would like to put out a call for help.  I need a volunteer who is experienced with WordPress (or willing to learn), and could be on call to help get the newsletter out when I am getting overwhelmed and things are starting to slip and fall.  I constantly have too many plates spinning to keep up with everything I’d like to do.  Let me know if you would be interested in keeping the Eugene Chapter running smoothly by helping in this way.

Wise Traditions Conference 2014

The 15th annual Wise Traditions Conference is coming up!  The topic this year is Focus on Food.  Start making plans to attend now.

DVD: The Gut-Brain Axis in Childhood Developmental Disorders

We have a very important DVD coming up for you.  If you are at all familiar with the Gut and Psychology Syndrome (GAPS) you will recognize the connection between the brain and the gut, but this area of study has resulted in great controversy and censorship when it comes to autistic children.  Come hear Dr. Andrew Wakefield give his perspective on The Gut-Brain Axis in Childhood Developmental Disorders.

How to use this Newsletter:

We recommend you start at our Newsletter page (eugenewestonaprice.org/newsletter) and scroll down to read all the current info (or you can click on a link above to go directly to a single article).  If there are any broken links, always check the newsletter page.  Also when I add additional info during the month, you will find it all on the newsletter page.

Enjoy!
