Film & Forum Event: What’s On Your Plate? – Nov 9

Other (non-WAPF) Eugene Area Events in November:

This film has not yet been reviewed by The Weston A. Price Foundation, and your chapter leaders have not seen it, so you will have to go and make up your own mind about the information.

What’s OK to eat? Where does it come from? What’s it made of?
And what is a Funyun? Learn the answer to these questions and more!

Join us for a showing of What’s On Your Plate? , a documentary film in which two young girls talk to food activists, farmers, market vendors and families about kids and food politics.

Presented by LCHAY, in partnership with 4J Nutrition Services, Tuesday evening’s event will feature opening remarks from local Chef Stephanie Pearl Kimmel

Representatives from eight organizations working to connect kids to good nutrition will be available before and after the film to answer questions and provide information about their programs, and how you can get involved.

This event is free and open to the public; film is appropriate for younger audiences.

DATE: Tuesday, November 9, 2010
TIME: 6:00 – 8:30 PM
