The Kraut Pounder is an original creation by the Eugene Chapter, WESTON A. PRICE FOUNDATION.
We began fabricating them in 2007 as a fund-raiser for our local Chapter. At that time there were no other tools of its kind specifically designed and marketed for fermentation (now there are several knock-offs – don’t be fooled, buy the original!). They continue to be handcrafted in Eugene, Oregon.
