Why have we moved from Portland?

When we inquired directly about whether it would be feasible to have our conference in Portland as planned, we received this response:

“The Governor has said that large events should be cancelled or drastically modified through September. Large events like conventions will not be allowed till we are in phase three of reopening. Oregon will not move into phase 3 till a vaccine or proven treatment is available. It is very unlikely that we will be in phase three by mid-November.”
