This comes to us from a local vaccine-choice activist.  It is not a WAPF event, and I do not have any additional information.  We include it here as a service to our members.

Oregonians for Medical Freedom hosts authors of New Vaccine-Friendly Plan Guide for Families

Acclaimed Portland pediatrician Paul Thomas is Ivy League educated and staunchly pro-vaccine.  He is also pro-science, and thinks parents should be wary of a one-size-fits-all approach that doesn’t take into account differences of patients in terms of medical history, toxin exposure, and timing of vaccines.  Oregonians for Medical Freedom hosts Thomas, together with co-author, award-winning investigative journalist Dr. Jennifer Margulis, to discuss their new book, The Vaccine Friendly Plan, and share research-based answers for families with questions.  Saturday, October 8th 3:00pm at Pure Life Chiropractic, 315 Broadway, Eugene, 97401.  The event is free to the public.

Paul presents his proven approach to protecting childhood health: a new vaccine schedule that that limits over-exposure to the harmful neurotoxins known to be in some vaccines without compromising community immunity.

What I find most compelling about Dr. Paul’s practice is this:  The national average of children diagnosed to have Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), according to the CDC, is 1/68.  Doctor Thomas has over 1,000 patients who follow his vaccine-friendly plan and none of them have ASD.  He has over 200 patients that are unvaccinated and none of them have ASD.  He has about 900 patients who were vaccinated according to the CDC guidelines and 15 of them have ASD, that’s about 1/60.

Based on the astounding results from his pediatric practice, as well as data from other credible and scientifically-minded medical doctors, Dr. Paul’s vaccine-friendly protocol gives parents:

  • Recommendations for a healthy pregnancy and childbirth such as his no-Tylenol rule for both expectant moms and infants
  • A slower, evidence-based vaccine schedule that skips some vaccines, and spreads out the associated neurotoxin exposure of others
  •  Advice about how to have an open conversation with health care providers when you have concerns, and how best to advocate for your child
  • How caregivers can communicate to educators when adopting a modified vaccination schedule, especially at registration and back-to-school times
  • A commonsense approach to common illnesses throughout the school year
  • Simple tips and tricks for healthy eating and toxin-free living at any age

An empowering roadmap for first-timers and veteran parents alike, THE VACCINE-FRIENDLY PLAN gives caregivers the information they need to understand both the benefits and the risks of some of the most important decisions they will make for their family.
