Is it March already?!?  – Variety Meats Cooking Class Postponed
Due to illnesses among our instructors and scheduling difficulties with our planning meetings during February, we have decide to postpone our variety meats cooking class from March until May.  Right now I’d like to see a show of hands.  How many people would be interested in attending a cooking class on Saturday, May 4th or May 11th?

The Popcorn Review DVD
We had a really good turn-out to the DVD Sugar Addiction in February, and the feedback I received was all positive.  This month we will be showing the second presentation by Julia Ross: “The Natural Prescription for Depression“.

Children’s Health Series:
After a few months off we are resuming our Children’s Health DVD Series.  The Eugene Sudbury School has kindly agreed to allow us to use their new facilities to show DVDs.  Coming in April, Cure Tooth Decay!  This one is really a treat, don’t miss it!

Potlucks:
For some variety, we will be doing things a little differently at our potlucks in the next few months.

  • In March I will do a demonstration of making fermented mixed veggies.
  • In April, Paul Atkinson will give a presentation about his farm Laughing Stock Farm.

If you would like to volunteer to give a short presentation about your farm at our upcoming potlucks, please let me know.

Raw Milk Seminar:
We would also like to encourage anyone who is milking a cow or goat to attend the Tim Wightman Seminar.  Really good info, tell your farmer about it!
