Foundations of Health – Class 2 – Cultured Foods

Our first class was extremely well received… so much so that we are expanding the class time.  We have added an extra 1/2 hour, at no extra charge!  Download the class brochure or flyer now, and invite your friends!

In our Cultured Foods class you will have the opportunity to sample and see demonstrated:

  • Beet Kvass: a traditional Russian beverage used for generations for poor digestion
  • Sauerkraut with variations like Cortido, a spicy kraut, and Pink PowerKraut with beets
  • Bread & Butter pickles, Dilly Beans, and Kosher Dill pickles,all made in fermentation brine so they are loaded with healthy probiotics
  • Corn Relish, and the original way catsup and mustard were made. Delicious and healthy!
  • Kefir (both dairy and water-based)
  • Last but not least Spicy Fruit Chutney, a quick and delicious recipe full of exciting flavors!

All of these are delicious and healthy.  As always, samples are provided to awaken your tastebuds!
