December 2012: From the Editor

Hi all!

Those of us who are teaching our upcoming class (December 1st) have been meeting regularly, sampling recipes and prepairing the class booklet.  All these wonderful recipes make me hungry just reading them!  We will be covering: 

  • Why eat fats and organ meats
  • Bone Broth/Stock and Bone Marrow
  • Crispy Nuts
  • Yogurt cheese & caramelized onions
  • Creamy Squash Soup
  • Mash Potatoes or Cauliflower with Gravy
  • Holiday Sausage
  • Fermented Cranberry Sauce
  • Egg Custard
  • Lemon Verbena Soda
  • Sluberkins (Delicious danish pasties)
  • Whipped Cream/Yogurt Topping

We still have spaces available (and yes, volunteers get free or reduced tuition).  I hope you will join us!
