Our October 2024 butcher date is quickly approaching!
We just wanted to check in and gauge your interest for a half or whole beef, as we will be headed to the butcher on October 18th for our final harvest of the season.
This will be another venture with Mohawk Meats, a local USDA certified butcher.
As a reminder, our current rate for hanging weight is $4.50 per pound for a whole beef and $4.75 for a half. We require a $600 deposit for a half beef and a $800
deposit for a whole.
If you are interested, please let us know no later than noon on Tuesday, October 8th. This will be on a first-come, first-serve basis. On October 8th, we will
confirm our appointment with Mohawk Meats and alert them as to how many beeves we intend to bring in for slaughter. At that time we will also discuss how to collect
deposit to secure your half or whole beef.
