Joel Salatin will be speaking in Corvallis on August 21st, 2011.

Salatin is a farmer, owner of Polyface Farm, author, activist, and a very inspiration speaker.  He has written books and articles on farming and the politics of farming, and given the Keynote Address at the Wise Traditions Conference.

Join us at the La Sells Stewart Center for an opportunity to listen to farming legend Joel Salatin. This presentation will be a panel presentation between Joel Salatin and local farmer Tyler Jones of Afton Field Farm, moderated by Greenbelt Land Trust Director Michael Pope.

Topics will include:
* Philosophy and design behind grass-fed, pasture based grazing systems
* The importance of local food production on a healthy economy and community
* Examples of how to intergate Joel’s rotational grazing system in the Willamette Valley
