Permaculture Design Course in Washington

This comes to us from some WAPF members who came to a potluck a few months back.  Leigh and Steve are founding members of a newly formed Weston A Price/Permaculture Community and Educational Center.  The non-proft organization is called Clearwater Sanctuary and is located on a beautiful piece of land located on the Olympic Peninsula near Matlock, WA.  It is composed of a small group of permaculture teachers, gardeners and farmers, and Weston A Price devotees.

Leigh says:

We are holding our first annual, two week, Permaculture Design Course at the end of November 2012.  This course will be awesome and a great way to deepen traditional food skills and knowledge, to learn permaculture, and to see how a Weston A Price diet fits so well with permaculture skills!

Also, we need to hire a cook for the course.  Typically this would be Steve and I, but we are needing to participate in the course as community members.  It sometimes feels rare to find someone who knows about Weston A Price’s work and has been, at the least, beginning to cook in these ways within their own home.  Also, this person would need to have a lifestyle where they can come up the the Olympic Peninsula from November 26-Dec 11 to join us and help feed our bodies!  We offer the cook a stipend of $1,000 for joining us to cook and participate in any extra ways they are able.
