Please bring a dish to share!  Our format is to go around and have each person introduce their food, so that we can learn about how others make Wise Traditions foods, and this allows anyone with allergies or food restrictions to ask questions about ingredients. We then serve ourselves and and enjoy great food and great conversation!

FDA Seeks Power to Remove Homeopathic Medicines

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has proposed new guidelines for homeopathic drugs that would give the agency the power to remove properly formulated homeopathic products currently legal under the Food, Drug & Cosmetic Act which governs the FDA.

 

In addition, since the FDA has withdrawn its previous policy—which outlined clear steps for bringing homeopathic medicines to market—the agency has provided no clear guidance on how manufacturers should comply with the law. The results so far have been chaos and a de facto removal of an entire category of homeopathic medicines. The agency’s abrupt moves have thrown manufacturers, practitioners, consumers and, indeed, the entire homeopathy community into confusion and uncertainty.

Please take two minutes to submit your comment to the FDA to help keep homeopathy safe!!

What’s happening?

The FDA is proposing to reclassify all homeopathic medicines.
This would allow them to declare all homeopathic medicines illegal, and withdraw any or all of them at any time.

This is a serious threat to the use of homeopathy as a healthy, alternative medicine. We are supporting Americans for Homeopathy Choice who submitted a petition to the FDA urging them to reconsider this classification. This petition is supported by 20 leading homeopathy organizations.

Now, we need your help. We need you to submit your comment to the FDA in support of the petition. When you leave a comment through the AFHC website, it goes directly to the FDA, as well as your members of Congress and other federal officials.
Our goal is 100,000 comments.

This organization has made a surprising amount of progress. Now, we need you to send your senators and state representatives a FOLLOW UP LETTER!! Deadline March 20th

Here is how:

· Visit HomeopathyChoice.org to copy and paste the letters.

· Ask your local senators to sign the letter Sen. Orrin Hatch of Utah is sending to the FDA, and then ask your local representatives to sign the letter Rep. Ryan Costello of Pennsylvania is sending the FDA.

· Call their offices and ask them the same thing! Call them 10 times!

This is your chance to do some good for homeopathy.

If ever there was a time for you to make your voice heard, this is moment!!

P.S. Because I don’t like leaving you without a homeopathy tip, I’d like to give you one for insomnia that I failed to include during Monday night’s Facebook Live event.

It’s one of my favorites for sleeplessness in children: Calc phos 3. It’s given twice daily until the condition is resolved, or used only as needed from time to time. It’s also a perfect fit for growth spurts associated with insomnia.
