We have tended this family farm since 1964, interweaving multiple species of plants and animals into a potentially sustainable ecosystem without synthetic sprays or fertilizers!
Certifications: Grass-fed
Farming Practices: We use organic soil amendments, organic fertilizers, organically approved pesticide sprays, diverse crop rotations, cover crops, and integrated pest management. Animal Husbandry: Animal confinement varies with species, between 15-50%. We use seasonal pasturing, rotating poultry, beef and hogs on our pasture. We use feed grown on our farm, directly purchased from other farms, and from a regional distributor (as locally grown as possible). No corn, soy, or GMO’s. We raise heritage breeds.
