2018 Steering Committee Meeting – In Review

We had our 2018 Steering Committee Meeting in January, and I am happy to say that we got another couple of great people who volunteered to help the Eugene Chapter, WAPF continue to function this year!

We still have a few tasks that were either not claimed or are still under-supported.  So if you would like to help out, please give us some idea where you would like to plug-in.

A few specific tasks that are still under-supported are:

  • Backup Newsletter Editor (who can make sure things go out in a timely manner when I am not able to)
  • Lookup DVD info for Newsletter
  • Host a food workshop at your home
  • Carry materials to and from events
  • Help with set up and clean up at events
  • Make sure we have a meat dish at each potluck
  • Post fliers around town to promote our events

If you would like more information about any of these, just let me know.  I would be happy to meet with any potential volunteers to discuss what you have to offer and how we can use your skills and energy.

See Get Involved! for more examples.

Oh yeah, and let us know what you would like to see the Eugene Chapter do this year.  What topics would you like to see demonstrated? What farms would you like to meet?  What else do you want from this group?  We want to know.

Thanks,

– Lisa
