From the Editor: February 2016

Hi all,

First of all I’d like to welcome the new people who joined us this year after Fun with Fermentation! Welcome!

Secondly, I would like to thank all of the volunteers who made the event a success! Thanks!

We have two events coming up in February and more in March.  Please note the dates, they are on little bit different than usual.

February Events:

I have also included an email that our parent organization, the Weston A. Price Foundation, sent out to all members.  The Eugene Chapter, WAPF is open to everyone regardless of whether or not you are members in the Foundation, so I’ve included it here.

We also encourage everyone to become members in the national WAPF.  With your membership you will receive 4 quarterly journals, an annual Shopping Guide and support a wonderful organization. Become a Member!

March Events:

We would like to invite anyone who is interested to join us for our annual planning session.  This meeting is for people who would like to contribute their time and energy to helping  the Eugene Chapter run smoothly in 2016.

  • Thursday, March, 3rd: March 2016: Planning Session
  • Potluck & Demo (stay tuned for details)
  • Friday, March 25: DVD Showing (stay tuned for details)

See our website for more info:

Information will appear first on our website, before this newsletter comes out.  We suggest you check back whenever you feel inclined.  All of the newsletter posts are archived on the web: eugenewestonaprice.org/newsletter

You can also find information about where to find local foods, practitioners, and more, all on eugenewestonaprice.org!

If you ever find links in the email that are not working, always check the website for corrections.

Eugene Chapter on Instagram

Check out our posts on Instagram. Got to: www.instagram.com or download the app on your mobile device, then search for @eugene_chapter_wapf.

Now on Instagram!

WAPFEugene on Yahoo! Groups:

We have a Yahoo! Group, so that local people can communicate directly with each other between events.  We suggest you use this group to coordinate bulk orders of food, discuss where to find food, practitioners, farms, etc.  Feel free to jump right in!

By the way, if you tried to join last year, but never received access please try again!  We had a monitor leave without letting me know, but I am back to approving members myself.

Enjoy!

– Lisa
