Upcoming Eugene WAPF Events!

Hi all,

Happy new year!!!

OK… I know I’m a little late to be the first to wish you a happy new year, but better late than never, right?

I hope you all have been having a happy, healthy winter, with lots of broth and other nourishing foods. Personally, I have been swamped with work at my “real job” and have spent several weeks traveling back and forth to Medford, and consequently haven’t had time to write newsletters or organize more Eugene Chapter events. It has been so long that I am starting to get people asking if they are still on the newsletter list!

So on that note, we are looking for someone who would like to take on more of a leadership role, and help organize events and make things happen even when I cannot do it personally. You don’t have to BE ME, just add your own unique skills and interests to the group.

We do have a couple of great events coming up for you in February!

Holistic Health, Nutrition, & Herbal Interventions in Heart Disease, Diabetes & the Diseases of Civilization:

In lieu of our regular potluck, local health practitioner Jakob Sletteland,  has offered to present a special talk on the “Diseases of Civilization”. Jakob is a Clinical Nutritionist and Registered Herbalist and also describes himself as an “avid supporter of the Weston Price Nutritional paradigm”.

Don’t miss this special event!

Feb 5: Talk at the Wellness Center

GAPS Support Group Meetings:

Nutritional Therapist, Cherie Anello, has scheduled the next few meetings so that you can now plan ahead through the Spring.

February 2, April 6, May 4, 2015

Feb 2: GAPS Support Group

If you are interested in lending your leadership skills to this fabulous group, just let us know.

As always, if you want to see anything you may have missed in the newsletter, just go to the Newsletter home page on our website:

Enjoy!
