Children's Health DVDs!

We only got 7 responses to this poll last month, which is not enough information to make a decision on.  Please let us know!  Vote YES if you would like if you would like to see these DVDs or NO if you would not come. Thanks!

We have been considering adding a series of DVDs focused specifically on Children’s Health. We would like it to be accessible to parents with young children, so I have arranged with my son’s school to host the events. They have a great facility, with play areas for children that will be available during the DVD.

We hope to show one DVD per month on the same day/time each month. Right now, Thursday evenings look like they will work best. We plan to provide childcare so that parents (and non-parents) may concentrate on the presentation. How many of you would be able to attend?

Would you come to a DVD on Children’s Health on a Thursday evening?

This is an exciting opportunity, especially considering that we would be able to bring our children. I think I may even have friends in my local MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) group that would be interested.

  • I have tried Redmond’s Real Salt and while I do like it quite a bit, there is a lot more sand in it than I’ve found in the Himalayan pink salts that I’ve been buying. I totllay understand why the sand is there (oceans have sand ergo salt deposited by ancient seas are likely to have sand in the deposits as well) and really there’s not a lot but there’s enough to make itself known to everyone in the house. You can see it in the bottom of a pot of boiling water (no matter how long you boil sand, it won’t melt along with the salt) and you can definitely feel it when you bite down on it with a molar. As I said, I do like the salt and I REALLY like buying (more) locally but there is a small trade off.
