August 20th: Nourishing Traditions Discussion

Our Nourishing Traditions Discussion in June was well attended and enjoyed.  We will continue to offer opportunities to come together to discuss this marvelous book and way of eating.

This will be an ongoing discussion session based on the Nourishing Traditions Cookbook by Sally Fallon. The discussion will be oriented to user demand, so bring your questions and/or your helpful hints. Possible topics include: Introductory information in the cookbook; how to interpret Nourishing Traditions fundamentals, general cooking techniques; recipes; fermentation; where to purchase ingredients for the recipes locally; budget concerns; menu planning & organization; how to stay motivated; and more. Bring your copy of Nourishing Traditions. If you don’t have a copy we will have some for sale at a 10% discount ($24 each).
